A Peek on Bellariffic Fridays

I am SO EXCITED Stamping Bella is releasing a new stamp like called Big Words.  I begged Em to do some peeks of these stamps and she agreed (I'm good at whining)

Today's sentiment is perfect for todays sketch

The dp is basic greys Indie Bloom.  I added some sequins in the corner

I kept the colours on the inside of the card.  This is another feature of these sentiments I love; she has smaller sentiments for the inside of your card.

Please stop by Blogabella to see the rest of the babes and sistah's creations AND peeks - Em is letting us see some of the new images until Feb 9 so we can all have our shopping lists ready!

Next weeks challenge is Valentines Day email your card to Em by Thursday to be included on Blogabella.

Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge 253

I hope everyone is having a great weekend I'm back today with Karen's SSSC253

Todays sketch was a challenge for me, I used to say I didn't like tilted panels but now its tiny circles

The background is made using a Heidi Swapp stencil.  On the purple piece I used mulled violet distress ink and on the kraft piece I used crushed concord.  The sentiment is from Stampendous stamps called "memory"

Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge 252

Happy Sunday Karen has another fabulous sketch for us this week (SSSC252)

For my card I used Stamping Bella's Yours Truly by Diane Duda.

The image is stamped with memento tuxedo black ink onto bella's bestest eggshell card stock and coloured with copics.  I added some shading on the dress with pencils blended with gamsol.  The DP is an old one - basic greys Koshi.  I moved the "button" to the left and used a flower instead.

Bellariffic Fridays are Back

Bellariffic Fridays are back for 2015!  This year Stamping Bella is featuring "a stamp of the month" and the chosen stamp will be 20% for the month at Stamping Bella.  This month the image is Sweet Sweet Gracie

This weeks challenge was Anything Goes to get us into the stamping groove.  For my card I stamped Gracie onto bella's bestest eggshell card stock and coloured her with copics.  The DP is MME's Honey.  The layout is from MFT's blueprints 1.

I took the same colours and layout on the inside where I added the sentiment that comes with Gracie.

The other BIG NEWS is we have a new Babe joining us!! Kerri Boucher is joining our team (Thank God for Colors).  Please stop by Bloggabella and all the babes blogs to see their creations.

Next weeks challenge is a sketch - ink up a current stamping bella image and email your card to Em by Thursday to be included on Bloggabella.

Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge 250

Happy New Year - I hope everyone had a fabulous break!  I'm happy to be back stamping and Karen's SSSC250 was the perfect inspiration!

Since it's the start of a New Year I thought it was the perfect time to ink up Stamping Bella's Uptown Girl Jayden loves to Journal.

The image is stamped on bella's bestest eggshell card stock and coloured with copics.  I added some sparkle to the dots on her top with an turquoise gel pen.  The shading for the table is done with pencils blended with mineral spirits.  The DP is Fancy pants Park bench

I used the layers on the inside of the card - isn't that a perfect New Years sentiment with all the resolutions (I never do them) and the feeling of a clean slate that a new year brings?!

Here's the sketch hopefully you can play along!
