Merry Penguins

Today I'm excited to share one of Stamping Bella's new holiday images

Is this not so cute?!  I love the one on his head!  The image is coloured with pencils blended with gamsol - I like the softness of the pencils on the black of the penguins.  I add some glossy accents to the lights.  The DP is Studio Calico's Magical Collection.

Keep popping back to Bloggabella - you never know when Em is going to give us some more peeks!!

Stamping Bella Sneak Peek

I'm so excited today to share with you one of Stamping Bella's new images - the release is set for Oct 1!  Em already gave you a tease of this image on her blog it's called One of My Peeps ....

Don't you just LOVE this one?  I mean it's just so perfect for any group of friends?!  Notice the end one has red wine.....

The image is coloured with copics.  I added some clear wink of stella on parts of the boa because they must have a sparkly boa and some glossy accents on their shades.  The sentiment is just so perfect.  The DP is MME's Sky's the limit

Keep your eye on Bloggabella for more peeks and I'll have another to share with you tomorrow....

Sweet Sunday 238

I'm finally back playing along with Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch challenge- (SSSC238)

For my card today I used Stamping Bella's Penguideer

The image is stamped with memento tuxedo black ink onto white card stock and coloured with prima colour pencils blended with gamsol.  I like the softer effect I get on the black with the pencils.  The DP is MME's Mistletoe Magic.  I distressed around the image and on the dp paper with antique linen distress ink.  I added some shimmer to the snowflakes with a clear wink of stella pen.

A little Inspiration

Happy Friday!!  I must apologize for being so silent on my blog - hubby and I went to Ireland for 10 days and I must admit I've not had any mojo since getting back!

This weeks challenge was an inspiration challenge

For my card I went way outside the box - using Stamping Bella's Flowers for a Friend

The base is a piece of kraft card stock that I sprayed with lindys sprays and distress sprays.  The image is stamped with versa mark and embossed.  The sentiment is stamped with versa mark ink and embossed.

Please stop by Bloggabella to see the rest of the babes creations and maybe another sneak a peek for the upcoming release...

Next week we have a sketch to inspire us - email your card to Em by Thursday to be included on Bloggabella

Snookums on a Sweet Sunday

It's time for another Sweet Sunday Sketch challenge from Karen (SSSC235)

For my card I flipped the sketch to work with Snookums from Stamping Bella

The image is stamped with memento tuxedo black ink and coloured with copics.  The dp is basic greys Bowties.

The sentiment is fabulous - but long so I just kept the inside white with the sentiment that I love!

Paper Pieced Bellariffic Fridays

This weeks Bellariffic Fridays challenge was to paper piece on your card - you know this was not a challenge for me I love paper piecing!

For my card I used Stamping Bella's Little Birdie Jane

The image is stamped with mementos tuxedo black ink onto bella's bestest card stock and coloured with copics.  Her dress is paper pieced with Basic Greys Knee High card stock.  For the background I used memory boxes Texture Wave stencil and scattered straw distress ink.  I added some sequins for some bling

Please stop by Bloggabella to see the rest of the babes and sistah's creations.  Next weeks challenge is a sketch - use any current Stamping Bella image and email your card to Emily(ok funny story I once referred to Em as Emily to my Hubby and he had no idea who I was talking about when I clarified he said why would I suddenly call her Emily??!)  by Thursday to be included on Bellariffic Friday and a chance to win the monthly prize
