Do More...

Today's Bellariffic Fridays challenge was a sketch - a nice simple not too fussy sketch which I loved.

For my card I inked up Senior-ita Gloria

The image is stamped with mementos tuxedo black ink onto bella's bestest paper and coloured with both copics and pencils blended with mineral spirits.  Instead of a DP I embossed my card stock using MFT's fishnet stencil.

I used the same colours on the inside of the card and used the same stripe panel for my sentiment which comes with this fabulous image.

Please stop by Bloggabella to see the rest of the babes and sistah's creations.  Next weeks Bellariffic Friday's challenge is an inspiration challenge.  Email your card to Em by Thursdays to be included on Bloggabella.

SSSC 227

Happy Sunday I hope everyone is having a great weekend!  I'm back today with Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch 227.

For my card I used one of Stamping Bella's Seniorita's - Magda

The image is stamped with memento tuxedo black ink onto bella's bestest card stock.  Her skin is coloured with copics, the rest is coloured with pencils blended with mineral spirits.  The dp is Little Yellow Bicycle's Fern & Forest.  I added the button to the bottom and left off the tab.

I kept the colour them on the inside of the card - I love the sentiment that comes with this image.

Celebrate Good Times...

Today's Bellariffic Friday challenge was a theme - Celebrate Good Times.  I must confess I took advantage of being the DT co-ordinator and when I made the schedule for this year I purposely put this challenge in for today because it's my anniversary and I needed a card for hubby!

For my card I used Uptown Girl Opal the Optimist.

The image is stamped with memento tuxedo black ink and coloured with copics.  I wrote the sentiment.  The design is from this wonderful card I received from Leslieabella last summer when she came for a visit.  For the DP I used 2 different papers - Pink Paislee's Hello Sunshine and Bo Bunny Lemonade stand.  I added a blue circle on the wine bottle because hubby's favourite wine has that logo - wonder if he'll catch it?!

On the inside of the card I used some of Stamping Bella's mixed media stamps - Journalling "currently" and mixed media framed numbers - can you guess how many years we've been married; I like to say I was VERY young when we got married.....

Please stop by Bloggabella to see the rest of the babes and sistah's creations.  Next weeks theme is a sketch, remember use a current stamping bella image and email your card to Em by Thursday to be included on Bellariffic Fridays

Have a great day!

Sweet Sunday 226

I hope everyone is having a fantastic weekend.  I'm back today with my SSSC226 card - Karen has another fabulous sketch for us

For my card I inked up one of  my favourite flower images from Stamping Bella - Flower Garden

The image is stamped with versa fine black ink onto water coloured paper then coloured with gelatos.  The one gelato pink has a nice shimmer to it.  The dp is MME's memorable.  I added a button instead of the flower embellishment.
