A little Inspiration.....

This weeks Bellariffic Fridays challenge was an Inspiration Challenge

I looked at this picture and decided it looked like a wedding reception so I used that as the "theme" for my card, and used some of the decoration colours as a starting off point.

I inked up Stamping Bella's Lulu's Wedding Cake with memento tuxedo black ink and stamped the image onto bella's bestest cream card stock.  I then coloured the image with copics using the colours in the photo as my inspiration.  On the "beads" on the cake I added some glitter using Star Dust Stickles.
I did add a pop of colour with some regal rose cardstock and ribbon.  The DP is EP's Everyday Eclectic.  I embossed the solid coloured piece using cuttlebugs modern wallpaper embossing folder.

Please stop by Bloggabella to see the rest of this weeks "inspiration" cards.  Next week is Sketch week!  Email your cards to Em by Thursday to be included on Bloggabella and you could win some bella bucks

Morning Fix

Good Morning  - today I'm here to share with you Lulu's Morning Fix from Stamping Bella

The image is stamped memento tuxedo black ink onto bella's bestest cream card stock and coloured with copics.  For the shading I used pencils and gamsol.  The shading around the image is done with antique linen distress ink.  On the flowers I added some glitter to the centres with an yellow spica pen. For the layout I played along with SC427 from a couple of weeks ago.  The dp is Ep's Sweet Girl.

I continued with the theme on the inside of the card and the sentiment comes with this sweet stamp.

This weeks Bellariffic Fridays theme is an Inspiration challenge.  Remember it's whatever from the picture that "inspires" you.  Email your card to Em by Thursday to be included on Bloggabella and you'll have a chance to win some bella bucks

Alice

Today's Bellariffic Fridays challenge was a sketch - how I love sketches, and lately I've been sticking to them!  Here's a reminder of todays

For my card I went through my Stamping Bella images and pulled out Alice

Alice is stamped with memento tuxedo black ink onto bella's bestest cream card stock and coloured with copics.  I paper pieced the cup and hand onto the image to give it some dimension.  On the mug I used a clear glaze pen, on her shoes and hair band I used a black glaze pen.  On the trim of her dress I used an orange gelly roll pen.  The shading around the image is done with scattered straw distress ink. I embossed the orange cardstock using Spellbinders Impressabilites Flower Silhouette.  The DP is MME's Notable.

Ramona on a Sweet Sunday

I can't believe how long it's been since I posted!  We spent a wonderful week in Mexico, but I came home last Sunday with a bit of a bug.  The meds have finally kicked in and I think my mojo is back - just in time for todays  fabulous Sweet Sunday Sketch from Karen.

For my card today I inked up one of Stamping Bella's sweet Ramona images - Ramona and her wagon

The image is stamped with memento tuxedo black ink onto bella's bestest cream card stock and coloured with copics.  The shading around the image is done with stormy sky distress ink.  The ground was suppose to be shaded with pencils, but I forgot and didn't catch it until it was assembled; so please imagine the ground LOL.

The dp is MME's My Girl.  For the scallop along the bottom I used MFT's simply scallops medium die-namic border.  I decided to cut the half circle out instead of layering it on.

For the inside of my card I carried over the colours and a straight border along the bottom.

Sketchy Bellariffic

Happy Friday - today's Bellariffic Fridays challenge was a sketch - how I LOVE a sketch!

For my card inked up Stamping Bella's Vintage HiWheel with versafine black ink onto bella's bestest cream card stock and then added some clear embossing powder.  I then shaded the seat, handle bars and frame.  To give it the old fashion feel I distressed around the image with antique linen distress ink.
On the blue card stock I stamped a french script back ground stamp with versamark ink.  The sentiment comes with the stamp and again I stamped it with versafine black ink and embossed with clear embossing powder.  The dp is Carta Bella's So Noted.

CAS Birthday and Thank You

I decided to take Clean and Simple 2 Card Making class and here are 2 cards I made.

The first is a birthday card that I made for my brother.  The sentiment is from a sentiment set from Bo Bunny.  I used a cuttlebug folder on white card stock then I distressed with faded jeans distress ink.  For the swirl I used a white gel pen.

The second is a Thank you card for friends who lent me Downton Abbey season 1 & 2 - thankfully I PVRd season 3 because I'm hooked!

For this card I used a thank you sentiment from the bo bunny sentiment set and embossed it in gold on black card stock then cut it out with MFT's say what? die-namics .  The cardstock is embossed with cuttlebugs modern wallpaper.  For the border across the top I used MFT's die-namics small scallop border.

See you Friday for Bellariffic Friday; you still have time to play along this week and email your card to Em by Thursday

Sweet Sunday 179

It's time for another Sweet Sunday Sketch (SSSC179) which was designed by Vicki!

For my card I decided to get a Christmas card done - one of 100!  I inked up Stamping Bella's Minty Coffee

The image is stamped with versafine black ink onto water colour paper and embossed with clear embossing powder.  I then coloured the image with distress markers and tombow markers.  I added some white glaze on the candy cane to give it some shine.  The shading under the cup was done with pencils and gambol.  The dp is basic grey's Aspen Frost.  For the little banners I used MFT's fishtail staxs die-namics

Banneriffic Belleriffic Duda

Happy Friday this week's Bellariffic Fridays theme was to make a banner or add a banner to your card. I must confess this was a HUGE challenge to me & I kinda cheated and used paper will banners!

I wanted to re-show one of the new Duda's from Stamping Bella - which are being released today!!!

The way you move Duda is on bella's bestest cream card stock and coloured with copics.  Shading on the image is done with pencils and gambol.  For the shading around her I used tumbled glass distress ink.  The DP is crate papers Fourteen.  I tried to add some banner but I couldn't make them work with the image and I so wanted to use this Duda.  I stitched around the design paper and then added some buttons in the corner.

Please stop by Bloggabella to see the rest of the babes and sistahs banner creations.  Leave Em a comment and you could win some Bella Bucks.  Next week theme is a sketch; email your card to Em by Thursday to be included on Bloggabella
