Thinking of You on a Sweet Sunday

It's another Sweet Sunday and I love all the layers Karen has on this weeks sketch (SSSC164)

For my card I inked up one of Stamping Bella's newest Uptown Girls - Winnie Peeking Out the Window.

The image is stamped with memento tuxedo black ink onto bella's bestest white cs.  I then coloured the image with both copics and pencils with gamsol.  I paper pieced the curtains with the dp from Carta Bellas Beautiful Moments.  On the yellow flowers in the box I used a  lemon atyou spica pen for some shine.  In the centre of the flowers I used black glitter.  The shading around the window is done with antique linen distress ink.  I used MFT's die-namic  Tag your It die.  I just realized while writing my post I totally forgot the flower/ embellishment on my card!

Please stop by the rest of the Sweet Sunday Stampers blogs to see their creations and if you have a chance to play along with us this week remember to link your card on Karen's blog

Yummmmmm

I love cherries and lucky for me cherry season is in full swing!  In honour of this I inked up an image from Stamping Bella's Lulu's Set of Fruit.

The cherries are stamped with versafine ink onto watercolour paper and coloured with distress markers.  On the colander I used a distress marker in pumice stone then added some silver with Faber Castell's gelatos.  The ds paper is MME's on the bright side.  The panel on the bottom is made with  MFT's Fishtail Flags Stax die-namics.  I then added a button on the side.

You still have time to play along with this weeks Bellariffic Fridays sketch - email our card to Em by Thursday to be included on Bloggabella

Thanks for stopping by - I'm off to enjoy more cherries!

Christmas in July!!

Happy Bellariffic Friday - this weeks theme was to create a Christmas card; it's never too early to get them started!  For my card I inked up Bunny with a Present by Mo Manning from Stamping Bella

The image is stamped with versafine ink onto watercolour paper then coloured with distress markers.  On the bunny's fur I also used a silver gelato from Faber Castel to give him some shine.  I then shaded around the image with distress inks in tumbled glass and antique linen.  For the fur trim and pom pom on his hat I used liquid applique and glitter.  The cs is co'rdinations which is embossed with a snowflake embossing folder.

Don't forget to stop by Bloggabella to see the rest of the Christmas in July creations.  Next week is Sketch week.  Email your card to Emily by Thursday to be included on Bloggabella and you could win some bella bucks.

Sweet Sunday with some Uptown Girls

Happy Sweet Sunday - not only does Karen have a fabulous sketch for us this week we have the new Sweet Sunday Stampers to share with you AND our fabulous guest designer.   Ok first here is the sketch (and I stuck to it this week!)

For my card I inked up one of Stamping Bella's Uptown Girls stamp.

Felicity and Blair with memento tuxedo black ink onto bella's bestest cream cs and coloured the image with copics and pencils and gamsol.  On the orange dress I used a pitch black atyou spica pen on the polka dots and the belt.  On the pink & turquoise outfit I used a pink atyou spica pen and a turquoise pen then added some tiny rhinestones for the buttons.  On the wine glasses and plate I used a clear glaze pen to make them look like glass.  The shading around the image is done with distress ink in antique linen.  The ds paper is Simple Stories "fabulous"  The flower is MFT's Upsy-Daisy die-namic.

I decorated the inside of the card to add the sentiment.  On the bottom of the inside panel I used MFT's simply scallops small die-namics.

Have a Berry Happy Day

Happy Friday the 13th!! It's sketch day for our Bellariffic Friday challenge and you know I LOVE sketches!

For my card I inked up Flynn Berry Happy Day with versafine ink and stamped the image on watercolour paper.  I coloured Flynn with distress markers.  The strawberry in her hand is paper pieced.  I added some shading on the ground with pumice stone and then shaded around the image with scattered straw.  The dp paper from American Craft Neapolitan was perfect for this image.  For the bottom panel I used MFTs simply scallop small die-namic then I added some white ribbon and a bow.

Happy Anniversary

Today is my 20th wedding anniversary - I can't believe it's been 20 years!  If you had told me then where we would be now I wouldn't have believed it.  Even more shocking is that hubby and I are going to be in the same city for our anniversary AND we are going out for dinner together on the actual date.  I think we have only been in the same city for about 5 anniversaries in total!

We are not super sentimental so I inked up the perfect image from Stamping Bella - Em's funky barcodes.  I distressed inked a tag with broken china then inked the image with distress markers to stamp.  I added a little glitter in the centre of some of the hearts.  The sentiment (which comes with the set) is also inked with a distress marker (barn door).  For the card layout I used Jen's SKFYTT from July.  No dp on this card, just used cardstock and my favourite embossing folder swiss dots. On the side panel I added some buttons to finish off the card.

I hope you have a great day - you still have time to play along with this weeks Bellariffic Fridays sketch; just email your card to Em by tomorrow

Thanks for stopping by & have a great day!!

Remember When....

Happy Friday - I'm a little late with my Bellariffic Friday post because my brother & his family have been in town and I've been shopping with y 13 year old niece; too much fun!!

This weeks theme was to emboss on your card.  My card today I again used a new stamp and style for me.

I used distress ink (old paper & broken china) on a tag for the background then sprayed on glimmer mist. I then stamped Vintage Hi Wheel with versfine black ink then added black embossing powder (doesn't really show it's embossed in the photo)  Then sentiment (which comes with the stamp) is also embossed.  I then embossed my base layer then added 3 buttons.

Please stop by Bloggabella to see the babes and sistah's creations.  Next weeks theme is a SKETCH!!  Email your card to Em by Thursday to be included on Bloggabella and you could win some bella bucks

Thanks for stopping by & have a great day!

Have a Cupcake

Happy Canada Day to all the Canadian Bloggers out there!!  It's a Sweet Sunday for us and Karen has another stellar sketch for us

For my card today I stuck with the sketch!   I LOVE Stamping Bella's Flynn so today I'm sharing Flynn NEEDS a Cupcake.

The image is stamped with memento tuxedo black ink onto bella's bestest cream cs and coloured with copics.  I paper pieced her dress with the ds paper from MME's Dolled Up.  I then paper pieced the scallop on her dress and the cupcake and the band in her hair.  On her shoes I used a clear glaze pen.  The shading around the image is done with distress ink in tumbled glass.  The flowers are MFT's flower trio and leaf trio die-namic using felt and a button in the centre.  I decorated the inside to add my sentiment.
